Concord Comets Baseball Club (CCBC) has been a part of the local community since 1995. The club was established by parents and is still run by parents and volunteers at our Home Ground in Majors Bay Reserve, allowing generations of kids and adults to enjoy this great game Down Under.

Our focus is on having a run, competing in the right spirit, and developing good baseball players who return year after year. We’re proud of the fact that many of our former Juniors continue into Seniors Baseball and eventually bring their own children to join the Concord Family.

Our Juniors program aims to help kids from 4 to 16 years, of all genders and abilities, come and play an exciting sport that is also a great teacher of life’s ups and downs.

Junior teams play in the Ryde Hawks Baseball League (RHBL) Junior Association,  in all grades from T-Ball to varying player pitch competitions. Games are typically played on Saturday mornings and the season runs from September until March, with a break for Christmas.

Our Seniors program is open to anyone over 15 looking to play baseball. Whether you’re an experienced veteran or a newcomer, we have teams for all skill levels – so there’s no excuse not to join in the fun.

Senior teams play in the Pacific Coast Baseball League (PCBL) during Summer from September to March, and in Winter from late April through to August. Games are played primarily on a Saturday afternoon or evening, with some games played on Sundays,

Since 1995 we have developed a fun and inclusive club culture, and enjoyed plenty of on-field success along the way. Many of our juniors have progressed through representative baseball at State and National level with several players representing Australia at international competitions, and securing American college baseball scholarships.

As well as going on to achieve success at elite levels, we love to see our players coming back each year, and have several programs that recognise and support those players.

Members that have played ten consecutive seasons in Concord Juniors are awarded with a personalised Concord Ten Year Player Jersey. Our partnerships with local high schools, Rosebank College in Five Dock and St Patrick’s College Strathfield, which require students to play a weekend sport, allow our players to continue their baseball career through high school and still be eligible for their Ten Year Jersey.

Our Representative Player Sponsorship program rewards Concord Juniors who are selected in representative teams playing at National level or higher, and who are active contributors and volunteers to the Club, with a financial sponsorship.

We also have Life Memberships which are awarded to long-term members and volunteers in recognition of their outstanding service and ongoing contributions to our club. We also have our Annual Club Person of the Year for members who are considerably active in the Club and our perpetual Honour Roll.

We are proud to be a family and community focussed Club dedicated to developing our players in a welcoming and inclusive environment and we’d love you to join us on the Diamonds at Majors Bay Reserve!
